About your chiropractor...

Thomas R. Lamar, D.C., C.C.E.P.

Always Learning

With nearly eight years of higher education leading to my doctorate in chiropractic long behind me, I still continue to learn. Taking regular postgraduate education courses and keeping my nose in professional journals, hones my skills and keeps me up to date on the latest research — allowing me to deliver the best chiropractic care possible.

Honored by his Peers

Sharing with his Colleagues

Through memberships in professional organizations, not only am I able to improve the care I deliver by drawing on the experiences of my peers, but I am able to support the vital grass root efforts that continue to propel chiropractic’s global recognition and acceptance.

Committed to his Community

I care about Kingston and Kitsap County. Giving of my time and talents to make this area a better place to live is one way in which I support the community that supports me.

Loving his Family

Dr. Lamar Asks some important questions of interest to Kingston residents - Chiropractor Kingston Dr. Lamar Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
